I was born in Mexico and grew up in the coastal town of Puerto Morelos. Water was present in my life from the beginning and aroused curiosity about what lies beneath its surface. This and my fascination with the natural world later influenced my decision to take a diving instructor course. Observing mangroves, dunes, reefs, or sea grasses taught me a lot about our planet and its inhabitants. I spent part of my life traveling and working in Europe, where I developed professionally in marketing and event management.
After living abroad for 10 years, I decided to return to my hometown and have been working as a diving instructor since 2014. In 2016, two important things happened: I did my first cave dive and obtained a scientific diving degree from the National University of Mexico (UNAM). As a result of this, I started a civic project called “Cave Corals.”
In 2020, I have decided to dedicate myself entirely to cenotes and caves, taking divers from all over the world into the depths of our Earth and showing them the magic of these dangerous but amazing places.
I intend to become a full-time cave diving instructor and inspire divers to become responsible advocates for the protection of underwater ecosystems.
I also hope to contribute to making cave diving more accessible to women around the world.
